Andrew Mills, Commercial Director

Andrew Mills is Commercial Director of AFK, responsible for the corporate commercial and legal aspects of the firm. He has over 35 years of international experience across major building, civil engineering and infrastructure projects, amassing a strong track record in the management and strategic development of conceptual and realised projects and businesses.

Andrew has developed complex projects from both a commercial and technical perspective, managing projects across diverse cultures and international backgrounds. He communicates with integrity, and balances an intricate knowledge of financial control with an appreciation of the entrepreneurial requirements of feasibility and design.

Andrew previously founded SPARC, a blue chip international development/construction/project management firm, and was Regional Director and Country Manager for Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, working on special infrastructure projects, and the development and strategic delivery of the businesses within the UAE. Andrew was Development Director for Durrat Al Bahrain, a US$1.6bn mixed-use waterfront residential development, and secured major mixed use schemes in Oman, Bahrain, and a major railway infrastructure project in Dubai.
